About RUSTIX

Rustix was formed at a Super Bowl party in 2011. Two of the original members, Doug Clark and Kevin Kelenski, with little to no expectations, decided to get together to jam, and see where it went. Since they were both influenced heavily by classic rock there was little time wasted discussing the genre of music that would be played. Over the next ten years there were no less than a half dozen changes in the members comprising the band and almost as many name changes. Rustix became the official name of the band in 2019 and the band has been playing Classic Rock covers in venues from Lehigh Valley to upstate New York. In addition to the two original members, Rustix includes Bob Palmer (2017), Joe (2023) and Rod (2023). Like every other local band, Rustix's bookings were cancelled in 2019 through the beginning of 2021 but the band stayed together and began playing outdoor gigs beginning in the spring of 2021.
